About the role

The Department of Inflammation are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to fill role Part-time PG Programme Administrator (2.5 days a week) for our brand new MREs Experimental Biomolecular Sciences course (launching Feb 26) and our Mastering Laboratory Skills short course.

As the Part-time PG Programme Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the course and the team. Collaborating closely with the Programme Lead, and course teams.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a vibrant Education team supporting PG & UG courses in the Department.

The role is a part time and based at the Hammersmith campus but involvement in departmental activities will necessitate travel to other College campuses. There may be the opportunity to work remotely on some days.

Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent, have significant experience in a course administrator role in the HE Sector, and have knowledge of VLEs and technology-enhanced learning as these are central to the College’s Teaching and Learning Strategy.

What you would be doing

You will be responsible for administering the planning and delivery of all operational aspects of the MRes Experimental Biomolecular Sciences and the Mastering Lab Skills short course. Working closely with the Programme Leads, the Education Coordinator and the Education Manager, the post holder will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the courses. The Programme Administrator will be the first point of contact for all enquiries regarding the courses from students and teaching staff.

Due to the nature and responsibilities of the role, it is onsite and in-person. However, some opportunities and flexibility will be provided for remote work.

  • Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent, have significant experience in a course administrator role in the HE Sector.
  • You should have knowledge of VLEs and technology-enhanced learning as these are central to the College’s Teaching and Learning Strategy.
  • You will need to be able to prioritise, work to deadlines, be self-motivated, resourceful, well-organised and have a customer-focused approach to their work.
